Sometimes you can be lucky enough that you are hardly hunting. This occasion was more like gathering.
I walked into the paddock early (like early) in the morning to have a look around, and I see those two hinds right at the fenceline at 145m. They were ducked down behind the fence, feeding so I could hardly see them at first.
I decide on one of them and while the one went down the other was just watching in disbelief, not knowing what to do.
At this point, I could have taken the other one, too. But who want to gut and dress two of those and carry or cart them out? I let the one be for another day.
